Dental professionals recommend soft bristles because they gently and effectively clean teeth and gums, whereas hard bristles can lead to gum recession and increased tooth sensitivity. Soft bristles are less likely to damage oral tissue while removing plaque and debris just as well.

Will the Pro brush head fit the Curve Sonic Toothbrush?

The Pro head does not fit the Curve brush, and vice versa. Our dental professional partners helped us craft each to fit its respective toothbrush model to offer optimal performance and effectiveness.

Why is there a gap between the toothbrush head and the handle?

This nifty little gap makes a big difference. It focuses the cleansing sonic vibrations directly to the head, through the bristles, and to your pearly whites! That way they don’t travel to the handle — because no one wants a tickle monster for a toothbrush. You get a more targeted, effective clean, and a better feel in your hand!

better than Philips Sonicare!
I got Philips Sonicare as a gift, and it made my teeth more sensitive. I couldn't find extra soft replacements heads (I tried many). I searched for it and found Burst. I love everything about it! The bristles are truly extra soft and won't damage enamel. I love 2nd mode (purple light) - it's perfectly strong (not too much and not too little) to feel great cleaning and gum massage. I also like little rubbery thing between the bristles - I think its for plaque removal, it feels similar to what I get at dentist twice a year. I love the color of the brush, it's very lightweight too. The curve is not very significant, I would say its the same angle I had on Philips Sonicare. I definitely recommend this brush and replacement heads!

Burst Curve
I purchased the burst curve toothbrush. I love this toothbrush. However, the cap for the brush does not stay attached when you place the cap on the unit. The cap is to keep the brush sanitary between uses for travel, but if the cap is not secure, it does very little to keep the brush sanitary.
