    It's OK, but some modifications would make it better

    I bought a Boost water flosser on the recommendation of my hygienist. It's OK, but in comparison to my old Water Pik, I have some suggestions.

    First, the soft rubber closure on the reservoir is inconvenient. IMO, a hard plastic cap would be more user friendly to snap firmly open or closed. It's awkward holding the the soft rubber cap open for filling the reservoir, and I don't bother closing the cap after I fill the reservoir anyway. When I'm done flossing, I leave the cap sort of open so maybe a little air can get in there to prevent 'stuff' growing in there.

    Second, and most important, is the reservoir is too small. The flosser runs out of water before the 45-second cycle of flossing is over, requiring resetting the flosser timer. I don't mind filling the reservoir to floss my lower teeth, but more water volume would make me feel like I had done a thorough job flossing between my teeth.

    Third, and not a huge deal, is there is no indicator for low battery life. It's frustrating filling the reservoir and ready to floss when the battery is dead. So I can't floss until I recharge the battery the next day when my computer is on so I can use the USB port to charge the battery.

    Thanks for listening. When the Boost wears out, I'll probably go back to Water Pik.

    Hard to hold/too little water

    Great idea but it’s hard for me to hold. And you have to figure out how to hold it so you’re not pressing the OFF button! Then you have about 30 seconds of good flow before it runs out. I’m disappointed.

    No longer works

    My flosser worked for nearly a year but just stopped. I liked it a lot but I would think that it would last longer. Will the company replace it is my question?
