Ask any dental pro; gentler is better! Super soft bristles break up plaque while saving gums and enamel from trauma. They’re also flexible for accessing hard-to-reach debris.

Why are BURST bristles better?

Why are soft bristles better?

Dental professionals recommend soft bristles because they gently and effectively clean teeth and gums, whereas hard bristles can lead to gum recession and increased tooth sensitivity. Soft bristles are less likely to damage oral tissue while removing plaque and debris just as well.

Why do tapered bristles help get below the gumline?

Tapered bristles have a point at the top to effectively penetrate below the gumline and between teeth. Almost like tiny, flexible toothpicks! No, the Original Sonic Toothbrush handle will not fit the new Pro Brush Heads. We recommend replacing your head every 12 weeks (sooner if you get sick). If you've been stockpiling, we suggest jumping onto the dentist-recommended schedule. Your mouth will thank you!

Will the Pro brush head fit the Curve Sonic Toothbrush?

The Pro head does not fit the Curve brush, and vice versa. Our dental professional partners helped us craft each to fit its respective toothbrush model to offer optimal performance and effectiveness.

Why is there a gap between the toothbrush head and the handle?

This nifty little gap makes a big difference. It focuses the cleansing sonic vibrations directly to the head, through the bristles, and to your pearly whites! That way they don’t travel to the handle — because no one wants a tickle monster for a toothbrush. You get a more targeted, effective clean, and a better feel in your hand!

I’ve only had a replacement head a short time ~ 3 weeks, maybe? Some bristles have already come out while brushing.

Brushing Experience
The brushing experience is very good; the only drawback is the position of the on/off button. Many times, my finger accidentally turns off the brush before it completes two minutes.
